About our Clubs

Active8 Minds offer standalone sports clubs, wraparound care, holiday clubs and community projects lead by a fully qualified team. Your child will have the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends and be part of a team through sports or creative activities.

All sessions are friendly, engaging and fun! Please use the find a club section above to see a list of our current locations, times and costs. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing for the session, Indoor and outdoor kit is advised. Children must also have a water bottle.

HAF Hampshire & HAF Portsmouth LINK

Active8 Minds are proud to be working with both Portsmouth City Council and Hampshire County Council as part of the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF).

This scheme provides an opportunity for children in receipt of benefit related free school meals to take part in fun holiday activities whilst encouraging them to eat well.

Active8 Minds will be running (HAF funded) holiday clubs for children aged 5-11 years at various locations over the school holidays in Portsmouth and Hampshire. Please email our friendly booking team to claim a booking form and find out more!

Club Information for Eligible Families
Active8 Minds holiday clubs are engaging, high energy and fun! Children have the opportunity to try out lots of sports and active games including dodgeball, soft archery, spy camp and much more! Children will be getting creative with our craft activities which include glueing, cutting, painting and colouring. Be prepared for some wonderful works of art to hang on your fridge!
What to bring
During our holiday club children will be taking part in lots of fun and active sports and games so please ensure children are dressed in comfortable clothing (tracksuits are ideal!) and have trainers. No flip flops, crocs or open toed shoes please!
All children will need a refillable water bottle and a healthy snack.. (Funded children will receive a free hot or cold lunch choice each day)
Please ensure your child is dressed for the great British weather…coats, sun protection, hats and gloves!
All medical equipment must be labelled and handed over to a member of staff upon arrival.
If your child requires any additional support, please contact our booking team to discuss.

We offer holiday clubs throughout all the school holidays at various locations (Christmas clubs are dependent on locations available).

Where necessary, all clubs are registered with Ofsted and follow strict guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety of everyone at clubs.
